STEP 8 - BALANCING HORMONES WITH ESSENTIAL OILS

broken image

Many things can disrupt proper hormone release in our bodies, including exposure to metals, pharmaceuticals, synthetic skin and hair products, chemicals in cleaning products, herbicides, pesticides, and emotional stress. When hormones become disrupted by these factors, the risk of thyroid disorders is increased. However, several Essential Oils are exceptional at naturally restoring balance to our hormones.

These oils include:

Clary Sage – balances out estrogen while reducing cortisol levels.

Thyme – balances out progesterone levels.

Sandalwood – balances out testosterone levels.

It is important to speak with a health care professional to understand your own hormone production and determine if your body needs support to produce correct hormone levels. Once identified, select the oil above that will provide the appropriate support, and use as follows:

DIRECTIONS FOR USE

Locate the reflexology chart included in the class. Apply one drop of the Essential Oil that you require for hormone health to the reflexology point on your foot that correlates with the thyroid (underneath the big toe). Apply every four hours throughout each day until hormone production is balanced.

Alternatively, the oils can be taken internally to support hormone production by drinking one drop of oil in four ounces of water every three hours throughout the day.

QUESTION – HAVE YOU EVER USED ANY OF THE OILS ABOVE? IF SO, WHICH ONE(S)?
